One of the most impressive people I have met since starting a vodcast is Diana Campos, who produces it. She is a native of Springdale and graduate of Springdale High School who went to New York City to study film. After graduating from New York University, she moved back to Arkansas to be near her family.

Spencer Tirey, head of multimedia engagement, had the wisdom to hire Diana and two other whip-smart women in their 20s to make up his team at the NWA Democrat-Gazette. They are light years ahead of me in terms of media savvy, which admittedly does not take much. But they are also far ahead of anyone else I know in this space. When I work with Diana, I feel like a Victorian grandma in a shawl and petticoat with glasses on the end of my nose. I'm riding a horse side-saddle and she's Christina Koch, trying to blast me into the new century.

Diana has her work cut out for her. I am not good at anything about the vodcast other than the content. That's important, bu it doesn't matter how great the conversations are........
