U.S. Sen. Ruben Gallego has been telling his fellow Democrats to man-up and quit being so damn bougie. (No, that’s not a direct quote. But yes, he swears a lot.)

Maybe now that he’s being interviewed by The New York Times Magazine, they’ll listen?

Either that, or they’ll continue to concede each and every news cycle between now and the 2026 midterm elections to Donald Trump and Elon Musk.  

Gallego sat down with Times journalist Lulu Garcia-Navarro, providing insight into what his party needs to do to move forward by revisiting some of his unheeded warnings of the past.

“A lot of times we forget that we still need men to vote for us,” Gallego said. “That’s how we still win elections.
