The following headline appeared recently on Breitbart: "Dems Ramp Up Threats of Violence as Failed California Guv Gavin Newsom Plays Race Card…Again; Trump Wants 'Civil War' for 'White Supremacy.'" Well, if that is what Trump wants, he will never get my support again. But that's not what Trump wants, I know it, Gavin Newsom knows it, most of America knows it, but the Democrats keep playing the race card because they believe they must keep "people of color" in their camp. That's what this "playing the race card" is all about. Votes and power. And it's all a lie.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness – That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed…" THAT is what we conservatives want, a nation where everybody is equal before the law, a nation that recognizes that the people's rights come from God, not government, that government's purpose is to protect the rights that God gives us, and that government gets its authority from the people, not vice versa. And, "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness." The people control the government; the people have a right to change it any time they want to........
