Red Sea Chaos: Sudan’s War Threatens Israel’s Arc

Sudan is bleeding to death, and the world shrugs.

But this is not just another African civil war forgotten by Western diplomats who cannot find Khartoum on a map.

This is the collapse of a state that once stood at the doorway of the Abraham Accords. And now its implosion is detonating across Africa, the Red Sea, and Israel’s fragile normalization architecture.

Since April 2023, Sudan has been ripped apart by a showdown between General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan’s military and Hemedti’s Rapid Support Forces — a paramilitary empire built on Darfur’s Janjaweed militias.

Quietly, the death toll has soared into the tens of thousands, and more than 15 million people have been displaced — the largest displacement crisis on Earth. Entire cities have been erased while Darfur faces a fresh wave of ethnic cleansing, and whole regions resemble failed-state wastelands.

However, here is the bitter irony: the world barely cares.
