Well, guys, it’s time to relax, have some summer fun, obsess about sports and, of course, contemplate all our national adventures in the world of politics.

When Trump tried to create a $1.8 billion federal fund that would more or less be doled out to people who claim they were persecuted by Democrats, his own party members rebelled, and the whole thing was put on hold. Looking back at this plan, which some would call a political disaster, Trump said:
