Almost every morning around 8 a.m., Karthik Gurumurthy takes a call from “SRT Sir”. 

That’s him, yes. Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. The “Chief Inspiration Officer” at Ten x You might want to discuss a product idea with the CEO of the sportswear brand, suggest a tweak to an outsole grip, or argue for a colourway to be reconsidered. He is, as he was on the field, relentless.  

“He reminds me of my days at Instamart, where I would call my team constantly,” Gurumurthy says. Only now the “demanding boss” on the end of that line is the “God of Cricket” himself.
