Enes Kanter Freedom declares for 2027 WNBA Draft

(NewsNation) — Former NBA center Enes Kanter Freedom has declared for the 2027 WNBA Draft.

Freedom played 11 seasons in the NBA before he was waived by the Houston Rockets in February 2022.

The former basketball star is listed as 6 foot 10 inches and 250 pounds on his NBA player profile. His desire to play in the league follows controversy amongst some players, several of whom have welcomed transgender women to be part of a WNBA team.
