DC Bureau: President Xi Comes to Washington

Chinese President Xi Jinping said Thursday the U.S. and China have an obligation to manage the development of artificial intelligence as “leading nations” in the industry.

“We have both the capability and responsibility to develop and manage AI for good and ensure that the development of AI is always under human control and serves the well-being of the people,” Xi said in the White House’s Grand Foyer.

For his part, Trump said he and Xi will discuss AI, which Trump has taken........
