It’s okay to love wild animals … just don’t get too close.

If you read my blog here at the Daily Caller, then you’re very well aware of how dangerous nature can get. House-slabbing tornadoes, blood-sucking mosquitoes, and then you have this giant elk that I have for you today.

Now don’t get me wrong, nature is awesome. A lot of you know how much I love the weather in particular. But with that being said, I wouldn’t stand out in the middle of a thunderstorm, especially in Florida where people seem to get struck by lightning every time it rolls through this state. It’s like the elk I just mentioned. It’s okay to take a picture, but do you have to be so close?

The video I have for you today comes from The Untamed View and is out of Estes Park, Colorado, and as you’re about to see, it seems that a man and woman got close enough to an elk where it made it angry — angry enough to charge after both of them.

Yeah, things got real … you can watch the wild video here.

Not only were these people too close to an elk here in rut season, but the picture-taking actually appears to trigger the elk, that’s the moment he decided to charge.

Look, I get it, we all want to have our moments with nature, but can we please start being smart about it?
