Not ready to move into winter mode

I am just not ready for flannel sheets, sweaters or socks. I don’t want to turn on the furnace or the fireplace quite yet. Not going to bring out my winter coats, boots, hats or mitts until much later.

Still wearing sandals to fight against the cold weather we got a week or so ago even though I have had to put on a jacket or sweater when I go out. Don’t know what it’s like today, when you are reading this, but as I sit here at my computer it is really cold outside – and inside, too. I have finally had to close all windows, except the ones in my bedroom. I like to cuddle up at night so keep it cool.
