Celebrate Asian Heritage Month with stories, film and culture at the library

This May, the Brantford Public Library invites the community to celebrate Asian Heritage Month by exploring the rich histories, diverse cultures, and lasting contributions of Canadians of Asian descent. With a library card, residents can access a wide range of free resources – including books, films, music, and digital content- that highlight Asian voices and experiences.

A highlight of this year’s programming is the Stories from the Asian Diaspora Film Series, featuring contemporary films that explore themes of identity, family, and belonging. The series begins May 13 with Minari, followed by Meditation Park on May 20 and Islands on May 27. All........
