Target is slashing prices on nearly 2,000 home and apparel items for the holidays

The reductions build on more than 10,000 price cuts Target has made over the past year, with some items now 20% below last year's prices

Target $TGT announced price cuts on nearly 2,000 home and apparel and accessories items on Tuesday, as the retailer moves to draw cost-conscious shoppers ahead of the holiday season.

The cuts span women's, men's, and infant and toddler clothing as well as footwear across the family, and certain products carry price tags at least 20% cheaper than they were........
