Alaska Airlines is moving to join American's transatlantic and transpacific revenue-sharing deals

The carriers plan to file for antitrust immunity with the U.S. Department of Transportation, with approval expected to take months

Alaska Airlines announced plans Tuesday to join American Airlines' Atlantic and Pacific Joint Businesses, arrangements that allow partner carriers to coordinate schedules, align pricing on select routes and share revenue on those flights once regulators approve them.
