Rain doesn’t dampen Big Rig show in Buckhorn

Yes, it rained … a lot … during the Buckhorn Big Rig and Motorcycle Show, but that is why exhibitors have sun shelters.

Reporters can stand underneath the shelter, ask questions, and exhibitors can display their knowledge and dedication to the mechanical things which help them make a living.

Bob Devries was at the event with his truck — Tan Lines — the pet name because of the tan striping along the side.

He and his wife Kristina bought the truck and trailer (used to deliver cars) a year ago for $600,000, plus extra money spent on details.

Kristina explains that what a truck owner charges never pays for the labour.

She explained her husband is in very good shape, as strapping cars on to the trailer takes energy. The car directly above the cab is the easiest to strap.
