When life gives you lemons: ‘Lemonaders’ ready to squeeze out donations during Lemonade Stand Day
Kiwanis Lemonade Stand Day is Sunday, Aug. 23.
Check the interactive map by visiting ptbolemonadestandday.com, choose a stand near you, grab a cup of lemonade from the Lemonaders (the kids selling the lemonade are called this), and help our local zoo. All profits from the day’s sales go to support Riverview Park and Zoo.
Hours may vary at the stands, but most Lemonaders will be serving their lemonade from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. There is no set price for the lemonade. You decide what to donate. You can make a donation by cash or you can scan the QR code available at every stand using your phone.
Want to get in on the action and set up your own lemonade stand? Register by visiting the website above. The Kiwanis Club of Scott’s Plains will provide your stand with everything you need to get started, including free lemonade crystals, cups, official Lemonade Stand Day signage, and a few fun surprise goodies.
