Gurugram hit-and-run case: Police say accused Kalyan Bainsla tried to escape after arrest

The Gurugram Police have added Section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against him. The police have also added an attempt-to-murder charge against the accused after analysing the CCTV footage against him.

Gurugram: Kalyan Bainsla, the accused in the Gurugram hit-and-run case in which a woman biker got injured, tried to escape after being taken into custody on the pretext of going to urinate, the police said on Tuesday.

Sharing further details, the police said that the accused fell while trying to flee. Following this, he got minor injuries, after which he was given a medical treatment at a government hospital. Bainsla was taken in custody from Rajasthan. The police filed a suo motu........
