When Tata Indica was rebadged as Rover and called City Rover

Tata Motors has been gradually expanding its operation across the world today but long before any of this, it had its hatchback Indica go over to the UK as rebadged Rover.

New Delhi: More recently, rebadging has become a very common sight. Renault has often rebadged Nissan cars like Micra and Sunny in India, which became Pulse and Scala, while the Renault Duster was rebadged as Nissan Terrano. Even Maruti Suzuki and Toyota have rebadged each other’s cars, which have shown decent success under both brand logos.
