Rahul Gandhi has accused Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of illegally changing Form 6 to help the BJP. The Election Commission has rejected the allegation as misleading and cited its SIR order and a Supreme Court judgment.

The Election Commission of India has rejected Rahul Gandhi’s latest allegation against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over changes to Form 6, calling the Congress leader’s statement “misleading”. The exchange comes after Gandhi accused Kumar of changing the voter registration form “illegally and unilaterally” and alleged that the move was intended to help the BJP.
