New Delhi: A public exchange between Zoho co founder Sridhar Vembu and Y Combinator president Garry Tan has turned into a sharp debate about the future of software. The clash began after Tan suggested that a new generation of AI powered tools could disrupt traditional software companies like Zoho faster than expected.

The conversation has also brought a trending term into focus. Vibe coding. A concept where non technical teams create custom apps using AI tools in very little time. Some users online say they have already tried doing this for internal workflows. Others joke that they are still trying to figure out what vibe coding even means.
