India and Europe renew space partnership until 2032: What changes for ISRO?

ISRO and ESA have extended their space cooperation agreement until January 2032. The renewed partnership expands their work to human and robotic exploration, space weather and sustainability, opening the door for future joint space projects.

India and Europe have extended their space partnership for another five years. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the European Space Agency (ESA) have signed an agreement that will keep their cooperation in place until January 8, 2032. The two agencies will expand their work into new areas, including human spaceflight, robotic exploration and space weather.

The agreement was signed in Paris on September 10, 2026, during the International Space Summit. It builds on a partnership that formally began in January 2002. The latest extension........
