Inbound signs five-year Australia deal for reusable spacecraft recovery

Inbound will use the partnership to test reusable spacecraft and build recovery capabilities across India and Australia.

Bengaluru: Chennai-based new space startup has signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding with Australia’s Space Angel Group to advance testing, recovery and operational capabilities for reusable spacecraft and re-entry vehicles.

The agreement, effective from September 2026, will explore flight testing, drop testing, high-altitude and near-space testing, recovery operations, spaceport infrastructure and mission planning. The companies will also assess joint technology development, demonstration and pilot missions across India and Australia.

The partnership gives Inbound access to Space Angel’s spaceport, test-range, runway and recovery infrastructure for testing and demonstrating its spacecraft, re-entry vehicles and lifting-body........
