West Bengal: 7 charred to death in fire at Birbhum hotel, several injured

A fire engulfed a hotel in West Bengal's Tarapith in Birbhum district, early Monday morning. At least 7 people died in the fire and several others were injured, said the local police. The injured are currently admitted to hospital and investigations are on to find out what caused the blaze.

New Delhi: At least 7 people were killed and several others were injured after a massive fire engulfed a hotel in Tarapith in West Bengal’s Birbhum district on Monday morning. Those killed and injured were all guests in the hotel, said a report in the Times of India.
