Former Railway Minister and once TMC’s no.2 Mukul Roy passes away

TMC leader Mukul Roy passed away on Monday at a hospital in Kolkata. His son confirmed his passing and said that the leader was suffering from multiple ailments. He was 71. Roy is credited with building the TMC and also being its face in both West Bengal and at the Centre.

New Delhi: Former leader of Trinamool Congress Mukul Roy passed away on Monday. He was 71 years old. According to a report in the Indian Express, the political leader was admitted to a hospital in Kolkata and he died at around 1:30 am on Monday.
