New Delhi: Israeli passengers who helped restrain the Omani co-pilot accused of attacking Indian captain Smit Machchhar on a flydubai flight have claimed that some crew members asked them to untie him.

Tzvika Manes and Daniel Schlichter, two of the passengers involved in subduing the co-pilot, made the allegations in an interview with The New York Post. They said the demand led to an argument on board the Dubai-Tel Aviv flight.
