New Delhi: An Orange Order march along a contentious road in Northern Ireland is set to go ahead on Sunday after a dramatic late-night court battle overturned a temporary ban on the procession.
The Portadown Orange Order will be allowed to march along the Garvaghy Road for the first time in nearly 30 years. The route has been at the centre of one of the most sensitive disputes of Northern Ireland’s Troubles.
The Parades Commission had earlier approved the march but imposed strict conditions. The procession will be limited to 35 people and must begin by 8am, with no bands or supporters........
