Baloch separatist group claims over 80 Pakistani personnel killed in Gwadar operation

The Balochistan Liberation Front has claimed that more than 80 Pakistani military and intelligence personnel were killed during Operation Almas in Gwadar. Pakistan's military, however, has reported a different casualty toll, and the claims remain unverified.

New Delhi: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), a separatist armed group operating in Pakistan’s Balochistan province, has claimed that more than 80 Pakistani military and intelligence personnel were killed during a coordinated operation in Gwadar and surrounding areas.

In a statement issued on October 27, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch said the operation, named Operation Almas, began on October 22 and targeted Pakistani military installations, intelligence offices and security posts.
