We all know, women do it all. They manage their family, often while holding down full-time jobs. They help aging parents with appointments and medications. They support children and loved ones through illness, recovery and everyday life. They are essential to keeping their families and communities healthy. 

For women in the so-called “sandwich generation” that makes up 28% of caregivers in New York state, that responsibility often comes at a cost. Balancing work, caregiving and household demands leaves little time or energy for their own health. When something has to give, it’s often their own routine checkups, preventive screenings or follow‑up appointments that get pushed aside.
