A private citizen with a Business across from the School Book Depository, Abe Zapruder shot JFK’s motorcade passing through Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963 & unwittingly captured the President’s assassination.
Holding an 8 millimeter Bell & Howell movie camera, Model 414 PS Zoomatic Director Series, he stood on a concrete pedestal being held steadily there by his secretary.
You see, in those days people took the occasional silent home movie & vacation memories for fun – not to shoot ’em for evidence. haha
