US President Donald Trump on Thursday declared that he sees no reason to spend time negotiating “complicated” trade deals with every country, announcing that his administration will be following a different strategy going forward.

As Trump’s 90-day tariff pause is set to expire on July 9, the president announced he secured a trade agreement with Vietnam on Thursday.
