At the closing news conference on Wednesday afternoon, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe said they hoped to reach a deal at the negotiating table. Meanwhile, Ontario Premier Doug Ford looked stiff and uncomfortable as he spoke sternly about potentially shutting down energy exports to the United States.
