Anger over rogue car park turning into dangerous 'wasteland'

The patch of land at the former Hoseasons headquarters in Oulton Broad, Lowestoft, has raised eyebrows since it reopened.

The site has been derelict for the last five years and was sold to an unknown buyer just over a year ago.

However, since then, parish councillor David Bromley says it has been reopened as a public pay and display, mainly at the weekends.

"It is open haphazard times of the week, has no planning permission and no regard for health or safety, highways access and no working lighting", he says.

Meanwhile, East Suffolk councillor for Oulton Broads, Andrée Gee, says lack of maintenance and a blind corner on the exit means "it is an accident........
