More than 260 people have responded to a Bungay Town Council Parking Consultation, alongside 25 emails and 172 detailed comments, on proposals affecting parking, access, and road safety.

Resident permit schemes, town centre waiting restrictions and safety-based changes are among the proposals.

Town clerk Julie Bird thanked locals for their input and said: "It was a lively mixture both for and against the proposals, with the majority in favour of change."

However, the responses paint a complicated picture.
