Highways officials have recommended that the proposed 105-home scheme on Norwich Road in Halesworth should be rejected.

Sally Bungard, a senior transport planning engineer at Suffolk Highways, warned that the current plans risked creating a hazard on the road, which is one of the town's busiest.

Cardinal Healthcare Properties submitted an outline planning application for the housing scheme to East Suffolk Council last year.
