Leak 'fixed' by water firm still flowing as hosepipe ban anger grows
Locals in Gillingham say they first reported the issue to the company in January.
But the steady trickle of water along Church Road continued and villagers raised their concerns again earlier this month after Anglian Water introduced a hosepipe ban.
The company said it sent workers to the site on July 16 and 17 and reported the issue repaired. A status update on its website also shows the job, near St Mary church, as closed.

However, locals say the leak is still pumping out water which is flowing the road and into a nearby drain.
Natasha Hunt, who has raised concerns about the leak for months, said: "It's just silly that we can't fill up a paddling pool for the summer holidays, but that's allowed.
