Musical comedy set to dazzle at Norfolk theatre next year
The Norfolk and Norwich Operatic Society (NNOS) has announced that its 2027 production will be the Gershwin-inspired comedy Crazy For You.
It will run at Norwich Theatre Royal from January 26 to 30.
The show tells the story of Bobby Child, a stage-struck banker sent to a sleepy Nevada town to foreclose on a rundown theatre.
He falls for local girl Polly and devises a bold plan to save the theatre by putting on a show.

Linda Campbell, NNOS chairwoman, said: "Following the phenomenal success of our spectacular centenary production Singin’ in the Rain in 2025, we will once again be showcasing the incredible talent we have locally in another high-energy, tap-dancing extravaganza.
"Crazy For You is everything we love about musical theatre with big dance numbers, classic comedy and timeless music.
"I am absolutely thrilled to bring this ultimate feel-good show to Norwich Theatre Royal."
In the meantime, NNOS will take to the stage next week with Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel, running from February 24 to 28.
