Man in life-threatening condition after crash on A47
The crash involving a silver VW Touran and a blue BMW happened just before 7pm on Saturday near Narborough.
A section of the road was closed as emergency services attended the scene.
Both drivers were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn.
The Touran driver, a man in his 40s, was later transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
The BMW driver, a woman in her 20s, remains in a serious condition.
It comes just days after a five-vehicle crash on the same stretch of road.
The road was closed for almost 12 hours last Thursday and a man in his 30s was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
He was discharged and arrested on suspicion of two counts of causing serious injury by careless driving.
A man in his 40s who was a passenger in one of the cars was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
