Farmers' market with more than 60 stalls crowned among the UK's best
The event at Creake Abbey, near Burnham Market, is hugely popular with locals, but it has now earned acclaim on the national stage.
It was included in a round-up of the 10 best farmers' markets across the nation, which was published by the Daily Express.
The newspaper wrote: "Creake Abbey's farmers' market is held on the first Saturday of every month, boasting over 60 stalls with local produce including meat, fish, bread, baked goods, fruit, vegetables and flowers.
"It is best known for its beautiful Norfolk saffron, supplied by the UK's leading saffron growers on the north Norfolk coast, alongside its selection of local ales."
The market has won a string of awards over the years.
Among these are the Champion in the East of England title in the Rural Enterprise category of the Countryside Alliance Awards 2025, and a Visit England Quality Food & Drink Accolade, which it has scooped five times so far.
The market opens at 9.30am and closes at 1pm.
The independent shops and services at Creake Abbey are open from 10am to 4pm.
