Ian Hall is closing The Bucket Man, a hardware store on Market Row in Great Yarmouth.

The shop opened in 2022, selling buckets, gloves and DIY equipment.

Mr Hall, who is retiring, said: "This shop has been more than just a business to me - it’s been a community hub.

"I’ve watched your houses turn into homes, your DIY disasters turn into proud successes, and your families grow up one paint tin, one screw, and one emergency plumbing fix at a time."

He said he would love to see another business take over the premises.

"It's been an absolute privilege to serve you," he said.

"The loyalty, laughs and support you’ve shown me over the years have meant more than I can ever properly put into words."
