The Planning Inspectorate dismissed the appeal by Chandler Harrod, owner of the house on Thurne Way in Ormesby St Margaret, following a site visit last month.

At that visit nobody was available to grant the inspector access to the property.

The bungalow, marketed on Airbnb as a “romantic hot tub coastal getaway”, has been the subject of complaints for more than a year.

Neighbours have alleged that guests’ behaviour, including outdoor sex visible from adjoining gardens, has led to repeated police callouts.
