Young engineers race self-built electric cars at Norfolk’s historic Hethel track
The event, held at Hethel Test Track in Norfolk, was part of a series of youth racing competitions organised by the STEM charity Greenpower.
Pupils from across East Anglia took part in the challenge, which saw them design, build and race their own electric kit cars in a hands-on engineering experience.

John Norton, teacher of engineering and art at University Technical College (UTC) Norfolk, said: "Greenpower is where theory finally becomes real.
"My pupils plan, design and develop their own cars, and this weekend at the Hethel race........
