The Conservative-run Great Yarmouth Borough Council (GYBC) says it has “serious concerns” over the demands from the government, which is requiring the authority to find space for another 10,000 homes.

At its full council meeting on Thursday, councillors backed a motion to outline its angst over the targets to housing secretary Steve Reed.

They have also voted to create a report setting out the implications of building around 10,000 homes could have on the borough, as well........
