Police were called to Grosvenor Road at around 6.45pm on Saturday following reports of a disturbance believed to involve a small group of people.

A potential suspect was later seen on nearby St John’s Road, where he climbed onto the roof of a house.

Specialist police officers, including negotiators, attended the scene, along with fire and ambulance crews.
