Canada is a viable investment market for investors around the world but it remains untapped, according to a new survey by CPP Investments.

The survey, which polled 65 global institutional investors representing roughly US$47 trillion in assets under management, found Canada (94 per cent) ranked No. 1 for investment opportunities among eight developed economies. Japan (82 per cent) and the U.S. (77 per cent) were the next most attractive markets to investors.

The findings were released ahead of today’s Canada Investment Summit, which will welcome more than 100 institutional investors from across the globe.
