HRT claims among women aged 45 to 54 up 228% over five years: report
Hormone replacement therapy claims among Canadian women aged 45 to 54 increased 228 per cent over the past five years, according to a new report from Manulife Canada.
The report, which analyzed the insurer’s group benefits claims data, found HRT use also increased among other age groups, rising 46 per cent among women aged 35 to 44 and 66 per cent among those aged 55 to 64. The largest increases across all age groups occurred in the past two years.
