Jelly Roll is apparently not welcome back to the Florida Panhandle. It’s all over some jokes the rapper-turned-country-singer made about Donald Trump during his recent stint as guest host on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
First, some context. Jelly Roll was the final guest host for the late-night show during Kimmel’s summer break. During his nightly monologues, Jelly Roll made quite a lot of jokes about the U.S. President. Historically, this is not unusual for late-night shows. The difference here, it seems, is that Jelly Roll has been perceived as supporting Donald Trump, even though he has not explicitly stated this.
