It's a case that has gripped the nation, yet the jury remains undecided. Jurors in the Lindsay Clancy trial announced Sept. 1 that they were deadlocked after days of deliberations. Judge William Sullivan has sent them back, urging them to review the extensive evidence in the case and come to a decision.

Clancy, who admitted to the killings, is on trial for three counts of first-degree murder for strangling Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, eight months, to death in the basement of their home in Duxbury, Massachusetts, on Jan. 24, 2023, before cutting her wrists and neck, then jumping out of a second-story window in an attempt to end her own life.
