On Saturday, May 23, 2026, the Congregação Israelita Paulista (CIP) will host another edition of “Ticun – Jewish Cultural All-Nighter”, in celebration of Shavuot, the festival that marks the giving of the Torah to the Jewish people during their journey through the desert after leaving Egypt.

With the theme “From Faith to Presence – Paths of Encounters and Transformation”, the event will take place at CIP headquarters starting at 5:00 PM, with free admission and programming open to the public. Inspired by the ancient tradition of staying awake on Shavuot night to study and reflect on the Torah—a practice known as Ticun—the Jewish Cultural All-Nighter offers a contemporary experience of spirituality, culture, art, dialogue, and human connection.

Held for nearly two decades, CIP’s Ticun annually brings together hundreds of people in a diverse program that spans different languages and generations. The 2026........
