The motorsport community is mourning the loss of the two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, Kyle Busch, who died on Thursday May 21, 2026.

Busch, 41, took his last breath after he was being hospitalized for a severe illness. The announcement of his demise was jointly issued by family, NASCAR, and Richard Childress.

“On behalf of the Busch family, everyone at Richard Childress Racing and all of NASCAR, we are devastated to announce the sudden and tragic passing of Kyle Busch," the statement........
