Where the industrial development of the twentieth century has provided comforts to mankind, it has also badly disrupted the balance of nature. While emphasis is on correcting this upheaval, consideration is also being given to how to practically ensure the protection of the earth for future generations. In this regard, Earth Day is celebrated every year around the world, which is not just a formal day, but also a means of awakening the collective conscience regarding the protection of the earth and environmental sustainability. The main purpose of this day is to create awareness that Earth is our only home in the vast expanse of the universe, and its resources are not unlimited. If we continue to use these resources indiscriminately, we will bequeath a barren and uninhabitable planet to our future generations.

If we look at the history of Earth Day, it is well known that it started in 1970. At that time, the aim of such a movement was to raise a voice against industrial pollution, deforestation, and the irresponsible use of natural resources. But today, even after half a century, the same objectives are not only alive, but their importance has increased more than ever.
