Impeach Trump and crew, vote out GOP
A person or persons who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims, are terrorists.
Trump and the GOP are terrorists.
They target all immigrants of color and peaceful protesters, denying them of their constitutional rights and murdering at least two.
They open criminal cases against political adversaries and cut funds to blue states and cities. Trump is also removing Black history exhibits, attempting to erase slavery.
They purposely cut funds that assist the poor and working class for food, health care, employment and housing, and target women’s reproductive rights.
Plans are underway to suppress the vote to stay in power.
It’s bad enough what they are doing to our way of life, our culture, our sense of safety and security. Trump is ruining our relationships with our allies, especially our closest trade friend, Canada.
He is forcing our allies to seek other markets, including China, that weaken us. Think our economy is in bad shape? Trump could care less unless he can financially benefit. Trump has enriched himself $1.4 billion so far.
Another terror tactic he uses is coercion and intimidation.
Colleges, medical research projects, television stations, celebrities and anything or anybody he dislikes. He ignores the rule of law and must be sued which he tries to ignore or challenge.
Trump is draining 250 years of dignity from the White House.
End the terrorism and fascism. Remove and replace the enabling GOP this November.
Then impeach Trump and several incompetent cabinet members.
Libs show hypocrisy over feds in elections
Under a headline declaring that, “Trump is continuing to wage war on elections,” The New York Daily News editorial in the Feb. 10 Gazette notes that the U.S. Constitution clearly states that elections are controlled by states, not the federal government.
The “Voting Rights Act” imposed significant federal control over state’s elections.
The U.S. Supreme Court has acknowledged the inconsistency with the act and the Constitution, and has declared that at some point, the Voting Rights Act could be declared unconstitutional, since it clearly violates the Constitution, which grants only the states with the authority to manage elections.
So it looks to me like when liberals want the federal government to interfere with federal elections in the states, it’s OK, but when conservatives even talk about doing the same, it is considered “waging war on elections.”
I’m confused. Let’s at least be logically consistent. You cannot support the federal Voting Rights Act, and at the same time declare unequivocally that the federal government should never interfere with elections in the states.
